At the Skyline Hawk Invitational at the Shenandoah Valley Golf Club with 20 high schools competing, Culpeper shoots a season low 314 to finish 4th. Matthew Amos leads Culpeper with a 71 (-1) to win a medal. Tommy Stallings also goes low with a 75.

In the Region 3B Sub Regional at Greene Hills Golf Club, Culpeper shoots a 318 and advances to the Region 3B Final next Tuesday at Shenandoah Valley Golf Club. Tommy Stallings wins the individual with an even par 71, and Matthew Amos shoots a 72. These were the top two scores of all players on all teams in the tournament.

At the Region 3B Final, on a blustery day and tough course conditions at the Links Course at the Shenandoah Valley Golf Club, team Culpeper comes up 6 strokes short of advancing to the State Tournament, but Culpeper's top two players, Tommy Stallings and Matthew Amos will advance. Tommy shot a 77, good for the 4th place medal, and Matthew shot an 82 to put him in a three man playoff for the 3rd and last individual spot - he won the sudden death playoff on the 1st hole. The State Tournament is next Tuesday at the Heritage Oaks Golf Club in Harrisonburg.
